On Thursday, 1st May our wonderful staff and children all had an amazing day celebrating the official opening of West Rise Primary School.  

The day started with a whole school assembly on the field and a ceremonial ‘cutting of the ribbon’ by one of the very first class teachers at West Rise.

The children and staff then engaged in a variety of fun and creative activities, across school, under the theme of ‘Care, Belonging & Togetherness’.  Everyone worked very hard to make the school look beautiful and made things to show they are part of the West Rise family.

It was a fabulous day of coming together as one school.
