Battle Abbey Trip

On Tuesday 21st April, Year 4 had a fantastic day out at Battle Abbey! This trip was a brilliant way to round-up their history lessons for the year, where they delved into the fascinating worlds of the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings, culminating in the iconic Battle of Hastings. The students were eager to show off their knowledge and even picked up some new facts along the way.

We are so lucky to live so close to where one of the biggest, historical events took place. It was a wonderful experience that brought history to life, and everyone left with an even greater appreciation for our past!
